Research Paper Requirements
Your research paper should
meet the following requirements:
v
Paper is to have
an introduction, body, and conclusion.
v
References and
citations should be in APA format. (If
you have questions concerning APA, please refer to http://owl.enlish.purdue.edu/ or
contact your instructor for assistance).
v
Paper is to be 5
to 7 pages, double spaced (1,250 to 1,750 words) for undergraduate or 12 to 15
pages for graduate courses.
v
Proper grammar
and spelling are required.
v
Paper must
contain a reference list of sources used (a “Works Cited” page). Students must select a topic in the section
of the text that is assigned to their last name.
v
In addition to
using your textbook, you must also use two additional outside sources for your
paper. For example, you may use the
Internet, academic journal databases, books, encyclopedias, videos, newspapers,
etc.
1. At least ONE citation from your textbook
2.
At least TWO references from the folder entitled
“RESEARCH PAPER REFERENCES” located on
the WEBSITES tab on your Blackboard course homepage
3. Any additional source that you locate
independently
4. Papers will be emailed as a Microsoft Word
