All my suits are listed below - this part of the collection started off when my Grandma gave 
me her old suits. Most are 1960s as I think these are the classiest around in second hand 
shops. Some however, as you will see from the descriptions, are pretty disgusting!

I have lots of questions for you to help me answer on these suits - see below for the list.

1930s Pale wheat coloured suit jacket. V neck lapel collar with four matching button fastenings down the front. Two horizontal slit pockets at the front on each hip. Label 'Alex Morris, 16-18 James Street, W1, May 4530 9Nr. Selfridges'. There was a skirt with this too, falling to just below the knee with two kick pleats at the front.  £0
1950s Suit jacket in thin red and black check weave with lapels and three round self coloured buttons down front. Two small pockets at bottom front of jacket, with label on inside of one: 'Name (blank) 736695, 34/38'. Red lining to jacket with label 'Sumrie original'. £4
1960s Turquoise blue silk chinese jacket. Stand-up collar, five blue toggle style fastenings. Two front pockets at hip. Label 'Double Horse made in China pure silk'. £10
1960s Pale yellow wool 'Jackie O' style suit. Waist length jacket with  two inch length slits up the centre of each front piece, and three quarter length sleeves. Matching knee-length a-line skirt. Both with pale yellow silk lining. Label 'Tissus Raimon, Paris'. Very classy.  £0
1960s Dark green wool and cord fitted jacket (green knee length wool a-line skirt missing). Stand-up neck collar with hidden popper at top, and four dark green round buttons down the front. Two small curved side entry pockets at front of jacket. Brown satin lining and coat hook. label 'Andre Peters originale, London'. £0
1960s Dark red wool jacket (skirt missing). Boxy shape, with three quarter length sleeves, and rounded collar with maroon velvet edging merging into shallow lapel neck. Two front opening pockets with velvet edging on flaps and matching round velvet button on each. Three velvet buttons down front of jacket. Dark red satin lining and coat hook. Label 'Windsmoor London'. £0
1960s Neon pink wool trouser and jacket leisure suit. Fitted jacket with pointed collar and zip up front with circular zip pull. Two pockets at hip level. trousers fitted to leg with inch thick waistband and narrowing towards ankle. Small split at side of each leg at ankle. Hidden pockets at side of each hip. Side zip fastening. Label 'size 14 MU8852 F.E'. £8
1960s Bright orange wool waist length suit jacket with rounded collar, three gold coloured buttons down the front and one each on 'tags' at each side. Wool rose decoration attached at neckline. Label 'blended wool dry clean only size 9YF'. £4
1970s Welsh Woollens walking suit with knee length a-line skirt and collared waistjacket with attached cape, all in cerise and purple squares pattern. Zip up front of jacket with round metal silver coloured pull. label 'Welsh Woollens woven in Wales 100% wool'. £6
1980s Handmade leaf green velvet jacket with embroidery attachment on stand-up collar and matching decoration on cuffs. Five small silver 'basketwork' buttons down the front, with green velvet hooks for each. £4
1980s Cherry red fitted wool and suede jacket. Thin line of red suede round edges of jacket, suede stand-up collar and suede zigzag decoration across collarbone and cuffs. Five matching red toggle and hook front fastenings and small  metal tag with 'Geiger' written on it just above left hip. label 'Geiger, Tyrol made in Austria'. £12

There's a lot I don't know about this suit collection:

Are my dates right for the jackets? In particular I would like to know about the 1930s pale 
wheat coloured jacket and the 1950s red 'Sumrie original'.

What do the numbers mean inside the pink 1960s suit and the red 1950s jacket?

Who are 'Andre Peters', 'Tissus Raimon', 'Sumrie', and 'Alex Morris'?
