All the hankies were about 10-20p so I haven't put prices on this section.

1940s

Beautifully pressed white handkerchief with a hand drawn sketch of Widdecombe in the Moor in the centre, and pale blue and pink lace edging. (£3.50)

1930s? Very small, finely woven white ladies hanky, almost see-through. Crocheted pattern of four squares in middle with four white flowers in each, and white frilly crocheted edging.
1930s? Gentleman's handkerchief in dark blue silk with a paisley/gothic pattern of red symmetrical swirls, interspersed with yellow and green flower motifs. (£2.50)
1940s Brown child's hanky with orange edging, green spots in the edging and a fine black blanket stitch around the outer frills.
1940s Pretty white hanky with small blue, red and yellow flowers in centre, a red and blue border and a lovely white white lace edging with purple, red, yellow and green flowers worked into it.
1940s White silk hanky with two inch wide gauze border. Pretty purple and yellow flowers with green leaves embroidered around edge of central square , and inscription in yellow in one corner 'to my dear wife'. (£4.00)
1950s? Silk hanky with a handpainted picture of an African native in the foreground beating a drum, with native huts and dancers in the background. In one corner reads' Native life in central Africa'. Red border with bamboo motifs within it.
1950s? White cotton hanky with rose motif lace edging.
1960s? Child's hanky with geometric pattern of pink and yellow polka dots on a white background. Yellow border.
1970s? Child's hanky with red and green pattern of Christmas trees and geometric patterns on a white background. Red border.
1990s Child's hanky from America with pictures of pumpkins, green apples, chillies, pineapples and baseball bats with the words underneath. Green border.
