Anyone want a cd?  The Closure CD was released today. "More Than What Meets the Eye", can be purchased from any of the 4 band members in school, or by the internet. The price of the CD is as follows:

   Not at shows - $6
   If you own the "live at the Sad Cafe" cd - $5
   At shows - $5
   Over the internet - $8

The CD is a fully recorded and mixed, and has 8 tracks. The set list is as followed :

     1. On My Own
     2. Stuck
     3. With Yourself
     4. Wrecked You
     5. Five Minutes
     6. Judgement
     7. Burn
     8. Vanishing Point

  Well It is just about here. The new CD, "More Than What Meets The Eye", will be ready to sell by monday, 2/3. The price of the cd, which includes 8 original digitally recorded tracks, is still undetermined. We will be posting that as next monday closes in. As for a cd release party....well, we are going to be selling them at the show on feb. 21st. Nevermind the cd release, that show is looking to be a hell of a show. Scheduled bands playing will be No One's Kind, The Drive (formally Fake ID), The Upper Hand, Roxi Monoxide, as well as Closure. The line up is subject to change, but when all is clear and confirmed, it will be posted in the shows section. Well thats about it from me, either Akis or myself will be posting a little later in the week concerning definite prices and release dates. Keep it cool. ........Its Coming......     -Matty N

  Isn't it a great feeling when you put everything into an effort, and it comes out better than you would've imagined? Well, I just felt it last week and it certainly is a great feeling. Alex gave me the master copy of the disc last Sunday, and I must say that he did an excellent job of recording, mixing, and mastering. Inexpressible thanks to him, and I'm sure no one will be disappointed with the quality on this one.
   Now, to get to the point. We're in the process of making copies, inserts, etc. for the discs. The working title for it is "[There is] more than what meets the eye". We might take the "There is" part out if we don't have the space to put it in. I'll put up an update in the "Music" section of the site, with a song listing, price, etc. over the next few days. Until then, have a nice Martin Luther King day tomorrow, and I hope you're as excited about this CD as we are. Signing off. - Akis

  Hey there, everyone, and welcome to the first newspost of 2003! You'll notice that the old posts have been moved to the Archives... just mosey on over there if you feel the urge to look into the past. I hope everyone's holidays went well, and here's to the coming year.
   Ok, there's a couple of things that need to be updated. First, we've decided not to play at the gig this saturday at The Sad Cafe (January 11th). We talked it over, and thought that it would be better to wait until we've got some copies of the new disc out. Thus, to say it again, Closure will NOT be playing this saturday. Apologies if this messes up anyone's plans.
   And that brings me to the second point I wanted to make -- yes, we've finished recording an 8 song disc with Alex Hatziyannis (You are THE MAN... many, many thanks) and he should be giving it to me this Sunday. So, that means sometime around the 19th or so, we will start selling them around the High School and at gigs. I'll update again soon on the details of the disc, or if you've got any questions feel free to e-mail.
   Ok! That's about it for now... keep an ear open this year, because it's shaping up to rock. After all, the "new" year is not a new beginning, but a continuation, and we'll be continuing to keep the fire going. Catch you on the flipside... - Akis
