| Cora finished her American Championship in the summer of 2007. By the end of December that same year, Cora became the #2(Breed Points) Dandie Dinmont Terrier in the United States. In 2008, Cora finished her International Championship. Cora's two favorite things in life are to lounge on the couch with her head on a pillow or hike the trail on a nearby mountain. Like all Dandie Dinmont Terriers she gives wonderful hugs and likes to lick the chins of the people special to her. |

| About Us Our love for the Dandie Dinmont Terrier began in 1998 as we watched Ch Montizard King's Mtn Kricket (bred by Doug Young of kennel Montizard), win her group placement at Westminster. Several years later, Kricket's granddaughter, our beautiful foundation bitch, Ch King's Mtn. Cordelia CGC RN (bred by Roy and BA Stenmark & S Pretari), was whelped at Clossongrey. Cordelia was Best Dandie in Sweeps, Winners Bitch, and Best Of Winners Dandie at the Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club Of America National 2003.She has earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC), and Rally-O Novice (RN) title; she was one of the first Dandie Dinmont Terriers to earn a Rally title. Cordelia is a Delta registered therapy dog, and recently worked daily in an Assisted Living Home...the perfect place for her gentle spirit and comical sense of humor. All of our Dandies live in our home. Dandies accompany us to the bank, Starbucks, concerts in the park, the Farmer's Market, hiking, just about everywhere...most of the time they are well behaved. We enjoy the versatility of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier. Each breeding we do is a result of many hours of work. We study the pedigrees as far back as possible looking at health, temperament, type and soundness; and we determine the heritablity of these aspects. We use line breeding and outbreeding to produce the best Dandies we possibly can. Our short term and long range goals for our Dandie Dinmont Terrier breeding program is driven by adherence to the Standard of the Dandie Dinmont Terrier and our desire to preserve genetic diversity. We hope to see this endangered breed, the Dandie Dinmont Terrier, continue to exist strong, healthy and of correct type for many generations to come. |
