Letter of Statement of Not A Candidate for Election 2009, sent in mid September 2009 to the KPU, Indonesian Commission of General Election.

This is the letter of statement of not planning to become a political candidate in election 2009 that I sent on mid September 2008 to the KPU, Indonesian commission for general election. I consider it important to make such statement letter, since Indonesia is in transition to become the world third largest democracy which requires politicians who prepared themselves well, while so far I have never prepared my self to become a politician.

By writing this letter of statement I hope other politicians can concentrate more on their efforts to win the election without having to suspect me of trying to enter politics with financial support from abroad.

It has been signed on top of seal-stamp, to make it more legitimate than just a signature on top of the paper.
