The program of Idol Gives Back by
American Idol held on April 24-25, 2007, really impressed me
especially when Annie Lennox singing "Bridge Over Troubled Water",
an old song of the seventies by Simon and Garfunkel. It was like
reminding me of my treating Paris Hilton as my bridge to heaven.
And among the guests was Playmate of the year 2005 Tiffany
Fallon. Her last name Fallon is like reminding me with Jimmy
Fallon whose appearance at Saturday Night Life inspired me to search
for Paris Hilton information on the website for the first time, that
was not for playing, to be sure of.
Most of all the program itself is so useful for charity.
Like mentioned on the Wikipedia
homepage, it started on March 8, 2007 American Idol results show,
Ryan Seacrest announced an initiative to give back to people in
poverty in both Africa and the United States (including those
affected by Hurricane Katrina). For every vote cast after the April
24, 2007 broadcast, sponsors donated funds to the Charity Projects
Entertainment Fund.
News Corp pledged to donate 10 cents for
every vote made to the show for the first 50 million calls, that is,
up to $5 million. MySpace created a special profile page for the
event in order to spread the word.[1] Donations from viewers were
accepted by phone and website during the April 25, 2007 results
show, in a manner similar to a telethon. Near the end of the
broadcast, Seacrest announced the show raised $30 million, with the
final tally coming on May 1, 2007. As of May 1, 2007, over $70
million has been raised as a result of Idol Gives Back.
In addition to public and News Corp
donations, regular show sponsors and special contributors donated
funds. These companies include The Coca-Cola Company, Ford Motor
Company, AT&T, Allstate, and Exxon Mobil.

A record-breaking flight
halfway around the world of Miles Hilton-Barber, to raise funds
for blind people in developing countries, turns him into the first blind
aviator to fly from London to Sydney in a micro light
aircraft. His name Miles Hilton-Barber that
contains the name of Hilton, and his blind status, like reminding me
with Paris Hilton's song "Stars Are Blind".
Moreover, his companion in the flight,
co-pilot Richard Meredith-Hardey, looks like the boss of Metro TV Mr.
Surya Paloh. Like reminding me with my failure to get married with Metro
TV presenter Rahma Sarita in which my excuse was because she is
beautiful while I am just an ugly man. In the case of Paris Hilton
it seems like such excuse is no longer useful because after all my reason
of approaching Paris Hilton is to treat her as my bridge to heaven, to
fulfill my consent to move to the eternity for the good of this world.
So it is not about whether I
am ugly or not. Besides, she has released the song that has been
successful in the market, "Stars Are Blind", that like reminding me
that a
star like Paris Hilton is "blind" about my ugly look in order to help me
move to the eternity. Therefore I should have no more excuse related to
my ugly look.
