Saturday 24 March 2007, around 8.00 o'clock in the morning I washed the car of my niece, a silver metallic Chevrolet Aveo. Then came to my mind the worry about my two outstanding debts to my old friend at school Raidy Noor and my colleague Mr. Suwito D., like I wrote in my previous letter of "Two Outstanding Debts". It really worried me to think that I might have to die leaving those debts behind, meaning that I would only cause trouble to my brother and my sister who should pay those debts. Though the amount of the debts might not be too big, but of course I would prefer to move out of this world without any debts at all. To ease my mind from such burden, I whistled the song of my friend Raidy Noor in which the lyrics was made by me. It could ease my burden because two songs of Raidy Noor contain my lyrics without my asking for payment, so it could serve as the payment to my debt, although only some part. It was followed by whistling another song of A. Rafiq, "Lirikan Matamu", because the Indonesian word of "lirik" sounds like the word "lyrics", although in that song the meaning of "Lirikan Matamu" is "glancing with the corner of your eyes". Then two other songs, the "Black Or White" of Michael Jackson and "That's What Love is For" from Amy Grant. Those two songs have the melody from my whistle a few moment before it were released, and I obtained nothing. By whistling those two songs, it ease my burden about my debts, because in fact besides my having debts, there were also some others who were like owe me something in the form of hit songs inspired by my whistle, and it become hit songs in international scale, and yet I made no complaints though I obtained nothing from those hit songs. It was like the story about a vendor selling oranges. One day someone bought a dozen of the oranges. A few hours later the man came back to the vendor complaining that the oranges were all sour, not sweet. And the vendor replied: "You only purchased a dozen sour oranges that happened to taste sour,......it means nothing......... compared to my having two big baskets of oranges, all of them taste sour." And the whistle continued with an Indonesian song "Hati Yang Luka" by Obbie Mesakh, which melody also similar to my whistle before it was released. Nevertheless I thank all my friends for having the undersanding of my situation, so I whistled "That's What Friends Are For". Being my friends, I hope those to whom I have debts could understand my position. After finished washing of the car, while cleaning the floor with a mob, the whistle was Rolling Stones song "I Can't Get No Satisfaction", because I still feel unsatisfied with my being unable to pay my debts. A few moments later in the bathroom, the whistle was about Mr. Bean movies, that often like inspired by my activities. With a strong hope that I could pay my debts before I die.

Friday night April 6, 2007, after I wrote the draft of the above letter, one of the persons I mentioned above, Obbie Mesakh, appeared on the Empat Mata, a recently so famous talk show. "Empat Mata", or "Four Eyes", televised from Monday night through Friday night at 21.30 to 23.00 on Trans 7 TV is actually a talk show like other similar program on other TV stations. The difference is that the host is a comedian, Tukul Arwana, with a funny look, unlike other talk shows that usually rely on handsome hosts. And it is Tukul Arwana the host of "Empat Mata" that becomes the magnet, the strong point of this talk show, that even Indonesians living abroad become addicted with this show by watching it through the Internet. In this "Empat Mata" Tukul Arwana the host becomes the "victim" of mockery from the audience and the guests, and he usually also mock the guests and audience, something rarely done by other hosts of similar programs. Like if a beautiful star being asked a question yet she told him to repeat the question again, he would immediately grumbled toward the star: "You are beautiful but having a no good brain........" On that Friday night of April 6, 2007, the guests were a young teenage star Shireen Sungkar, with some older stars Betharia Sonata, Mus Mujiono, Nella Regar and Obbie Mesakh. The song of Obbie Mesakh, "Hati Yang Luka", that was released after I whistled the melody a few weeks earlier, was also appeared in the show, with Betharia Sonata singing it. In the eighties, she was also the singer who popularized this song.
