There is a significant development after president Putin launched a full-frontal attack on the United States, saying it had broken from international law and made the world a more dangerous place. U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates responded Sunday by saying "one Cold War is enough" and that he would go to Moscow to try to reduce tensions.

Let us hope that this problem would not deteriorated into the situation that would endangering human species.

For you and I this becomes significant because president Bush’ appointed Mr. Robert Gates as Defense Secretary is like inspired by my writing these letters to you. In other words, you and I have been burdened with the work of defense secretary, indirectly. And this is not for the first time that I feel like obtaining a little bit responsibility related with defense sector. When Javier Solana became the secretary general of NATO in 1995 to 1999, because his first name contains "vir" like my name, I also have a litle bit of responsibility of sharing his burden, indirectly.

Actually at first I was thinking about postponing this letter, because the date of today is 13. But since there is something important to write so I keep on writing this letter with the hope that God would help protect from any bad luck that might appear.

Yesterday after I typed the draft of the above letters at an Internet shop, it was followed by my getting the news on TV at CNN when I have been at home about Four Seasons hotel going private.

Today when I browsed that news at the internet, it appeared that it was to continue your previous bid on Four Seasons hotel like I wrote in my previous letter. Like written in the above caption, the more complete text of this recent news is : "……A consortium led by Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud and Microsoft chairman Bill Gates announced a final deal to buy Canada's Four Seasons luxury hotels for 3.7 billion US dollars……"

The amount 3.7 is like the Russian diplomatic car license plate in Jakarta, CD 37. So this news is like becoming "the peace efforts from Four Seasons to reduce the tension between Russian president Vladimir Putin and US Defense Secretary Robert Gates".

To prevent disaster, for the good of this world.
