On June 24, 2006, around ten o'clock in the morning I visited my friend Boyke's house at Saidi street I/28, for some kind of reunion with my old friends from the junior high school. I have missed some previous reunion like that in the previous months, so I felt it as an urgent event for me to come. Especially most of them have never met me again for years.

After having lunch and some conversation of nostalgic moments of the past, around five o'clock some of my friends preparing to go home and I was asked to go along with my friend Kicky who happened to live in the house that is on the same route of my way back home.

We were four people in Kicky's car, me and Ita on the back seat, and Diana with Kicky in the front seat, with Kicky driving the car, a Toyota Corolla Lantis. Because Diana and Ita were leaving their cars in the parking lot of Citos mall, so we went there first to drop them, and I with Kicky resumed from Citos.

It was around ten kilometers from Citos to Andara street where Kicky leave, but I only rode her car until around fifty meters from Andara street because I have to continue with the public transportation car.

Later on in July 10, 2006, a good news came when Italy won the FIFA Soccer World Cup 2006. The name of Italy is like my friend's name Ita who was on the back seat with me in Kicky's car on June 24, 2006.

And it was followed by the bad news, on July 17, 2006 in Indonesia, an earth quake and a tsunami hit Pangandaran beach and some other locations on the South of Java island, with the most damaged area and victims on Pangandaran. The name of Pangandaran is like containing the name Andara, the street name of Kicky's house. And she has the origin of Aceh, that was hit by an earth quake and tsunami too on December 2004.

My deepest condolence to the victims of South Java tsunami 2006.

The above story related with South Java tsunami 2006 was not the first time that I went home with my old friends was followed by a disaster. In 2005 when I made a trip to Bandung with my old friends form the senior high school, there was also another disaster, hurricane Katrina in the U.S., after I went home on the VW Caravelle of my friend Atty, like I wrote in my letter to Paris Hilton Contemplating Katrina. The disaster of Katrina has drowned the city of New Orleans that most of the people left there should save their live by climbing into the attics of their houses.

Those disasters were like reminding me about having to get serious with my consent to go home to the eternity.

A photo of president George W. Bush above is also like reminding about his matter, since in Indonesia the cars are right hand drive, so the above photo of president Bush was like my self when I stepped out of Kicky's car from the left front door.
