This web page is all about me! The secret is... only I can
see it! Wait! That's no longer true, obviously, since you're also seeing it!
Isn't that great? no? not really? oh well... Anyways, I think you should scroll
down and see the rest of my page. Isn't that a great idea? Yeah! If you
really like my page, you can email me by clicking here. (Just a note, if
you see any weird words, such as +lrig, just read them backwards and disregard the +, my computer has
something wrong with it.)
My name is Emily and I'm 14 years old. I have
a little brother named Ben who is 11 and in the 5th grade. I'm in the 9th grade
at Trinity Jr. High in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I originally made this web page for
my Word Processing class, but since then I have added a lot more. Isn't that
exciting? No kidding...
This is a rainbow jub jub. If
you'd like to know more about jub jub's you can click on the picture. It will

If
you'd like to know some interesting things about me, this is the place!
My favorite thing to do is... ummm... I'm not sure I know what my
favorite thing to do is, or even if I like the things I do... but I spend a lot
of time instant messaging. Right now, there isn't anyone online, so if you have
AIM (aol instant messenger) then please, click here. (Note:
This link won't work if you don't have AIM!) If you'd still like to contact
me, but don't have aim, you can go
back to the top and click the first link you see.
I also spend a lot
of time playing the Game Cube. The game I play the most is Super Smash Brother's
Melee. I'm pretty good with Roy and Kirby. (Yoshi is stupid!!)
Click
here to see Roy's Diary! The greatest game of all time has to be Crazy Taxi,
which at the moment, I don't own, but would really like to. I also have the
Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time that was remade for game cube. I was on level 2
and Ben was on level 9 until I deleted them the other day. (whoops)
On
Saturdays, I like to sleep in, but now I'm on a bowling league and can't sleep
so late. My average is around a 77 and my high game is 136. I have my own black bowling ball with my name carved into it. I also have
my own shoes, that don't really look like bowling shoes, but that's ok, isn't
it? :)
I really like to write. I come up with lots of strange ideas.
Lots of them are spin-offs from other books and stories, but some aren't. I'm
going to try to put some of them online soon, althought there aren't many
completed ones.
Ask Louis This
story is actually a spin-off from The Summer of the Monkeys, but you really
can't tell. On word, it is over 80 pages long. I started writing it in the
6th grade, and it is still not completed.
Before the End This story is a spin-off from Louisa May Alcott's Little Women. I wrote
the original version of the story in the 6th grade, but I have since then
rewritten it, and that is the version you can read. It is the very first
story I ever wrote, and I still have the original paper that I wrote it on. I
am saving it to be put in my museum after I die.
Other things I do sometimes are practice my flute and piano and play
with my dog Suzy (the second). I've been playing the flute for 5 years, and am
pretty good. I don't like band class, but I do like playing. At solo and
ensemble contests a few weeks ago, I got four 1s. They rate you on a scale of 1
to 5, with 1 being the best and 5 being the worst. I played a solo, entitled
Bergamask, a clarinet/flute duet entitled Promanade, a flute duet, simply called
March, and a wood wind ensemble, playing the March of the Men of Harlech. That
song makes me dance. I've been playing the piano since last summer. My dog
is a shetland sheepdog. I've had her since kindergarten, after Suzy the first
died. That would make her 9 years old. Wow. She has to stay outside all the time
because my whole family has really bad allergies. She really like it when we pet
her, but she doesn't like loud noises, like the vacuum cleaner or the coffee
grinder.
If you didn't already know, I really like monkeys. It all
started way back in 7th grade when me and my friend Heather went to the mall. We
bought matching monkey t-shirts. Then we went to the game room and they had this
really annoying game where you had to hit monkeys. I'm not exactly sure how this
started my love for monkeys, but it did!
My favorite food is mashed
potatoes!!! (nuff said) I also really like mint
chocolate chip ice cream. I don't watch tv that much, so I don't have a
favorite show, but when I do watch tv, I like to watch Nickelodeon, ABC Family,
Cartoon Network, and the Disney Channel. If I absolutely had to pick a favorite
tv show, it would have to be Samuri Jack. (love the theme song) It's pretty hard
to say what my favorite movie is, but I finally picked the Lord of the Rings.
Here's my favorite scene.
Aragorn: Gentlemen, we do not stop 'til
nightfall. Pippin: We've had one, yes, but what about second breakfast?
Merry: I don't think he knows about second breakfast, Pip. Pippin: What
about elevensies and lunch and afternoon tea and dinner and supper! He knows
them...doesn't he? Merry: I wouldn't count on it. Then Aragorn throws an
apple over a bush. Merry catches it and hands it to Pippin. I love hobbits! They
rock!
Here's
a quick question. The famous John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave
his only son so that we might not die, but have eternal life" is found in the
bible when Jesus was talking to...?
a. to his disciples at the last
supper. b. to sick people. c. to Niccodemus when he vists Jesus at
night. d. to all the people in the temple.
To see the answer, click here. Did you
get it right? Don't feel bad if you didn't, most people don't get it right.
Learn something new every day, right? If you did get it right, great
job!
I like to read a lot. Some books I really like are all of the
Circle of Magic books, the Outsiders, How Far Would You Have
Gotten If I Hadn't Called You Back, and Starfish. Although, if you're
ever really bored, read the Bible! There's great things in there, even an almost
sickening love story in Song of Songs.
When I read or do homework, I
like to listen to music! Mostly I listen to christian stuff like they play on air1. Some of my favorites Third Day, KJ-52, Switchfoot, Skillet (I went to their concert when they
came here last year! It was great!), Kutless (They are coming here sometime soon too!), and the Newsboys. I like all these bands enough,
but my most favorite has to be Relient K!
Named after Matt Hoopes' Plymouth Reliant K car, these 4 crazy guys are always
on my stereo! I've gotten my favorite pictures off their website and put them here if you want to
see.
If you want to see my pictures, and you didn't click it before,
please click here to
see my other page.
I guess that's really all I have to say about myself. I hope
you enjoyed my web page and clicked on some of the links here. If you didn't
click on any yet, there's still a chance to! Just... click here!
