That's the basic move and if you got this far you've done pretty well. Start with the spinner rocking in the basic move and then by hitting it lower than usual, at or just below the middle, it will tip right over one baton and revolve around it (I use the right as I'm right handed). As it passes the horizontal flip it up a little and stop the spin with the right baton (the one it span round) It's hard to get the catch right at first so practice controlling the spin. The further below the middle you're right baton is the faster the spin will be. The Cartwheel Spin I found this one accidently while trying to do a spin on the left baton.
Spinning is an ancient art form dating back to the earliest of times. The skills needed for spinning were typically handed down from mother to daughter. During the Industrial Revolution large machines were developed which made it unnecessary for most people to spin their own yarn. Thus the knowledge necessary to run a spinning wheel was lost in most families. For more than 30 years, Lois Nelson has taught the age-old art of spinning wool into yarn.
Holding the spindle under your right arm, lay the yarn on the spindle over the fleece that you have just prepared 6. Hold the yarn and fleece firmly between you left thumb and forefinger. Spin the spindle clockwise by pushing with your right thumb and pulling with your right forefinger 8. As the spindle spins, the yarn will start to "grab" the fleece and spin it into yarn 10. Slowly release small amounts of fleece by pulling with your right hand while releasing pressure with your left hand 10.
