| In general, transaxles and butterflies are not that great for looping. Yo-yos like the Terminator Technic, BC yo-yos, etc, are generally good loopers. Also, being able to do the flying saucer or especially the lariat (not picking up the string), can be very helpfull for learning loops. When you string starts getting too tight or loose, can immediately adjust it. Lastly, relating to the string tension issue, don't be afraid to double-loop a fixed axle yo-yo to help with learning. |
