A growing number of telegeoprocessing systems have been developed since geographic libraries for programming languages such as Java have been marketed. These geographic libraries help programmers but presently no method intended for conceptual designers of telegeoprocessing applications does exist. In this article, several visual extensions of an existing object-oriented method OMEGA are proposed in order to model telegeoprocessing systems with a high level of abstraction. This article proposes a visual modelling language for the conceptual design of telegeoprocessing systems. Our approach may be appropriate for multiple physical implementations on several platforms.
