This CD gives those interested some indication of the range of the Collection and the range of voices in the Collection. The CD opens and closes with a variety of easily recognizable voices that hardly need identification. Each tells a short story drawn from their interview. We then chose fifteen longer stories to provide a deeper understanding of our projects and the types of information that can be found in the Collection. We have also tried to give the listener some sense of the international coverage of the Collection and the emotional impact of many of the interviews. |
