. if used on a web page then a link to the Nanoworld must be provided. Replace this with the filename noted below the Image in Form View. So long as you place the correct extension on the name (ie. either jpg or gif) the files should be saved correctly (even if you leave File type as "HTML files") and be readable by any image viewer.
I'll bet you'll find something new in some of the links, stories, and utilities I found. And listen, even if you don't, I'm still earning valuable brownie points. There are seemingly hundreds of image file types, and invariably the one you'll need to view is from an obscure corner of the galaxy. If you're curious what these graphic images are and where they come from, try the " Every File Format in the World" listing. AdvertisementViewing files is really a piece of cake if you have the right tools.
This database was compiled by our staff to illustrate some very interesting Earth features and processes, including cities as seen by our Astronauts from space. Earth from Space provides several ways to search the selected images. Each image is available in three resolutions and includes a cataloging data and a caption. However, this site contains only a small selection of the best of our Earth photography. The complete database of NASA's Earth imagery is available at the Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth, which contains more than 400,000 images.

It helps to have a screen larger than mine (800x600) to view them - click on the preview image to see the full-size version. 5 doesn't display my pictures properly, or the top frame of the rest of Angela's pages. ) And yes, I know that well-designed web pages should work with all browsers, but I've only just discovered these problems with MSIE.
