What are the limits to performance on current machines. What is the impact of both hardware and software technology. Our current research in computer architecture covers a wide range of topics, from the microarchitecture level to the overall system level. Several of these projects are performed in collaboration with researchers in VLSI, Operating Systems, and Compilers. .

The Computer Architecture and Parallel Systems Group Homepage About our group The Computer Architecture and Parallel Systems Group focuses on the design and evaluation of advanced computing systems consisting of hardware as well as software components. The work has a strong experimental orientation with an emphasis on modeling, simulation and benchmarking of man made systems. The work on system architecture aims at the integrated design of architectures, with a specific interest in modeling and simulation of computing systems.
PROGRAMME SUMMARY Help design the world you live in by training as a draughting technician, assisting in the design, detailing and construction of housing, industrial and public buildings. Unit Standards which form the basis of this New Zealand National Diploma in Architectural Technology, may be used as credits in other relevant Certificates and Diplomas, as well as leading towards degrees. Both manual and computer-aided draughting (CAD) will be covered in the Diploma. For further details please contact Jane or Barbara at Trades and Industry. .
