Bottom: The real product of his 1937 locomotive. This design would later help the Pennsylvania Railroad establish a reputation for advanced engineering and design.
Unlike Posada and Beardsley, Loewy had a goal to improve living, and to clean up the industrial ugliness if America.
Beardsley created numerous company logos.

Shell in 1967
All of these logos are very simple and very effective.
