First season Dawson likes Jen then he realizes he loves Joey, the girl next door who's loved him since the beginning of time. Third season, Felicity and Ben are still together but overcome a number of situations including Ben's recovering alcoholic father, a roommate who's trying to break up with a boyfriend who's a bad influence on her by getting her hooked on drugs.
