The Opie and Anthony Show

As I call it "the future of talk radio", the O&A show is on XM station 202. As Howard Stern ages badly, Greg "Opie" Hughes (born 1965) and Anthony Cumia (born 1963) are getting better as time goes on. AND on April 2, O&A come free with your basic XM subscription. I still like Stern but c'mon, he's going downhill somewhat. As as of March 25, he mentioned he would only work 4 days a week and 42 weeks a year at the shit satellite company. I pity Sirius for spending 500 million on a slacker. When his Sirius contract ends (if the company don't cripple before then), he will be a old 57. Fifty-seven is not too old but he's aging fast. He also is staying on shitty Infinity "honoring" the rest of his contract with them. Infinity is way worse than Clear Channel by the way. In Columbus, they are known for commericals lasting more than 15 minutes at times on QFM96 and tiny playlists. ALSO, STERN DOESN'T HAVE JIMMY NORTON. ONLY O&A DOES!!! <3

UPDATE 4/02/2005: XM changed their pricing structure. They raised the price to 12.95 BUT O&A comes free. ALSO! XM online is now free and it comes with 5 online exclusive channels. Some that XM axed in the past on the non-online service. Special X (channel 30 on online) and On The Rocks (channel 78 on online) look interesting and metalheads can have channel 42 back. Check it out!

Favorite XM channels as of far:

All the decade channels - WELL DONE channels, props to XM

Nashville - country

Luna - latin jazz, see Caliente

The Joint - the best kind of music, reggae

All Baseball channels
