[Fade up.]

[Scene opens to the Terry family's house in the Bartlett area of Memphis, Tennessee. Cole Terry has bought his mother and father a very nice and very over-roomy house. Lots of people have gathered at the Terry household for an overnight stay and Thanksgiving dinner. Sitting on the loveseat is Russell Terry, Cole and Simon's father; beside him is the Terry's mother Jean sitting and doing a crossword puzzle. In the floor playing with his younger sister is Chase Terry, the fourteen year old son of Cole. On the couch is Cole and Simon Terry, and Cage Sullivan. Across from them in a leather recliner is Rhemses Trekker.]

[Sidenote: Cage's first appearance since leaving NEW after being told he had diabetes. Cage has seemingly gotten a little smaller, but still in very good health.]

Rhemses: Mrs. Terry, I don't know if I'll be able to eat any of that Thanksgiving turkey tommorrow. I don't think I'll have room for it after that wonderful meal you cooked tonight.

Mrs. Terry: Well thanks for the compliment Rhem, but you'll be ready tommorrow after you get a nights sleep tonight.

Cole: You guys still going shopping on Friday?

Russell: Your mom is. There is no way that I'm going to get up at 5:00 in the morning and fight all those idiots trying to save a dollar or two. Last year, the cops were called at Wal-Mart because two grown women were fighting over a $2 Barbie doll.

Mrs. Terry: But they have some huge sales going on Friday.

Cole: Is it worth it?

Russell: Oh sure, she could save up to fifteen bucks by going Friday instead of waiting another week.

Simon: Dad, give her a break.

Russell: Doesn't bother me, if that's what she wants to do.

Cole: Mom, could you watch after Chase and Liz for a few minutes, I want to talk to the guys in the kitchen.

Mrs. Terry: Go ahead, they aint bothering anything.

[On that, all four of the friends stand up and make their way to the kitchen. Cole opens the fridge and hands everyone a Natural Light.]

Cage: What's this?

Cole: Some of dad's beer. He's never bought anything that cost over like 10 bucks a case.

Cage: Hey, a beer is a beer.

[Cage pops the top and begins drinking the beer.]

Simon: You sure your supposed to be drinking that?

Cage: One's not going to kill me. My sugar is pretty stable right now.

Cole: Simon, Rhem, I wanted to know how you felt about me sending a couple of the guys with you to Out of Control?

Simon: To learn from us?

Cole: Well, that, and to kinda help you guys out.

Rhemses: What kind of help?

Cole: Just to kinda lighten the load for you guys a little.

Simon: Cole, I'm not trying to mean any disrespect or anything, but Rhemses and I are going to do this on our own. If we can't win those Unified titles without some interferance, we don't want them at all.

Cole: I understand that, but there's no harm in playing a few mind games. Braddah' Moke and Wolfgang have already said that they'd love to go to OOC. I've been working on helping out my last two graduates too, they said that they'd come along too, if needed.

Rhemses: Sorry, Cole, but Simon's right. We've got to earn those titles or nobody in NEW will give us any respect.

[Cole takes a drink of his beer and makes a slight bitter beer face.]

Cole: I'm just offering insurance.

Simon: No thanks.

Cole: What about Cage standing in the corner, just in case there is a "Gold Standard"? What if Dylan Jones or the "Dylan Jones cyborg" decides to step up and help his boys out?

Rhemses: Then we'll knock his head off two, either one of them.

Simon: I know you want us to win, Cole, but we can handle this on our own.

Cole: I sure hope so.

Rhemses: Trust us.

Cole: I will until you guys show me any different. Now I've got to get the kids in bed. You know dad will be waking us up at like 6:00 in the morning to watch those stupid parades on television. If you guys change your mind, just let me know.

Simon: Thanks for the support bro, but I don't think we'll be needing anybody just yet.

Cole: Goodnight guys.

Rhemses: See ya in the morning.

[On that note Rhemses, Simon, and Cage begin conversing over the football games that are going to be on television the next day. A few cross arguements over a few of the games, etc.]
