[Fade up.]
[The scene opens to Simple Simon Terry sitting in one of the meeting rooms of the hotel. He's called up NEW himself to have a cameraman sent to this area to cut a promo. It's unusual that Simon does his talking directly to the camera, he's more of a behind the hype kind of guy. So let's just see what he has to say.....]
Simon: I've asked Rhemses to take the girls out for the day so that I get some television time by myself. I felt like people deserved to see some extra time of SST by himself for a change. I've got to say that I enjoyed tag teaming with Rhemses Trekker last week, and felt that we were definately on the same page. I feel that we as a team have a very good chance of becoming the new Unified Alliance Champions.
[Simon stands up and walks over to the micro-fridge to get a bottle of water. He takes a long pull and begins to talk again.]
Simon: It's been a long time since I've had some gold from this business, and it's time again that I felt what it's like. I've got more strive right now than I've had since I left the Major League, but that doesn't mean that I've underestimated my opponents this week. I know that any given team can be beat on any given night. I know that The Food Chain could just as easily pick up a win as it is for Anna Nicole to pick those 50 pounds back up. Hell, under other circumstances, I've been beat by worse, lots worse. I stepped down and lost a world title to a guy that I can't even remember now, because I thought it would be good for the company I was in. And to use one of my ol' buddy SBK phrases, "I outworked, outclassed, and outshined" most of my opponents in the Council, but due to backstage politics I was forced to lay down to them. I decided then that no company would make me do something like that again. I'm not one of the guys who goes around bitching when they can't handle their opponent, but I know when I can beat somebody, and I know when it's somebody elses call for me to put my shoulders on the mat for a one two three. So I will say, if Food Chain or Harcore Perfection, or Fuego and Friend beat Street Wise in the tag team tournament, it'll be because they earned it, not because SST sit back and let them win.
[At this time, Rhemses and the sisters, Ashley and Courntney, walk into the room. Rhemses motions for Simon to keep rolling and has a seat. He sits and watches as his tag partner continues.]
Simon: Absolutely no one in this company is going to hold us back. So I'm going to lay it down now for the new CEO, the Street Wise era is just beginning. We will hold those titles, one way or another.
[Simon looks over at Rhemses. Rhemses hands Simon his yellow sunglasses as if to say "it's all good". The two stand and walk the girls out of the room ending the footage roll.]
