January 14, 11:21 a.m.

The scene returns to the TCBY building in Little Rock. This particular room is rather large with different types of backdrops lining the walls. The occupents of the room are Simple Simon Terry and "More Wrestling, Less Gimmick Magazine's" head photographer Janet waiting to get started on some shots of SST. Janet has laid out some outfits for SST to wear that she has picked out from a dufflebag Simon brought with him on this shoot. As we see Simon now, he's wearing a pair of bluejean shorts, a white wifebeater, and a white fuzzy Kangol.

Simon: Can we get some music in here before we get started? You know set the mood?

Janet: There's a stereo in the corner over there, but we don't have any CD's here.

Simon: No problem, gimme a sec.

Simon pulls his cellphone out of the dufflebag and calls his squeeze Courtney who is somewhere in the building. He gives her a welcome and then asks her to bring some CD's from the rental Jeep. On that the scene closes and re-opens with Simon standing in the middle of some of the stageprops from the Out of Control pay per view. He's dressed now in a yellow beanie and an Atlanta Hawks basketball jersey. Janet is popping off pictures, while "Suffocate" by Motograter is blasting in the background. Courtney is standing behind Janet watching.

Janet: Really good. I'm getting some nice shots here. There's one more thing before you go for the interview, we've been asked if you go do a quick promotional commercial for the apparrel department. It'll just take a few minutes to get a cameraman up here for the shot.

Simon: Sounds cool. Why such a big interest in me all of a sudden?

Janet: Well, since you've changed styles, your a top commodity around here. The fans are taking the change really well, and NEW's looking to cash in on the whole urban look. Here look at this.

Janet hands Simon a piece of paper with the script for the commercial.

Janet: This is a promo for the NEW retro baseball cap. That's the only lines we need you to remember.

Simon: Sounds easy enough.

On that note the scene fades to re-open with Simon standing in front of a gold backdrop wearing the NEW baseball cap.

Simon: Ever feel like you needed a change? You ever just wanted to start over and be somebody "NEW"? Give yourself a boost of confidence by sporting the NEW urban retro baseball cap. It comes in one size fits all, anywhere from Grendel to El Torres. It's only $24.99 and can be ordered at newwrestling.com or from the order form in your latest copy of More Wrestling Less Gimmick Magazine.

Janet: Cut....Good job, I think one take will be fine on that. Now if you wanna head downstairs, Josh is waiting for you for the interview.

The scene closes once again as Simon exits the studio, opening this time to a small room where a presswood table is set up with two chairs. The table is filled with assorted bagels and donuts and a coffee pot full of hot coffee. Simon is sitting on one side of the table, now dressed down to a white t-shirt, bluejeans and one of the "NEW" baseball caps, across from him is Josh Mews who is set up to do the interview.

Josh: Like I said before some of these questions may get a little personal, but you don't have to answer anything that you don't want to.

Simon: I'm sure we'll make it through it.

Josh: Okay, first question. Why the change in Simon Terry? The clothes? The attitude?

Simon: I've done this job day one from the fans. It's more for the fans than anyone. As far as the attitude goes, I needed to show the fans that I enjoyed doing my job. Whenever you walk around serious and angry all the time, it just seems like your not happy to be there. I'm stepping away from that.

Josh: The clothes?

Simon: Honestly, that's more of a marketing thing. Nothing really interesting in that. Just becoming a little more in style to keep people buying the merchandise.

Josh: Okay, now onto the tag team Street Wise. You and Rhemses have a really twisted past, what ever made you think of teaming with him?

Simon: It was my brother Cole's idea mostly. We worked out alot of our differences during my few months off from NEW backstage. Alot of it was petty and put on for the shows benifit. We found out really quick that we work well together.

Josh: Indeed, you guys are the Unified Alliance Champions. Another big question, how do you feel about some of the other NEW superstars comments on your winning the three way title match at Out of Control?

Simon: Well, we've got the belts to prove that we won the match. There was no rulebreaking, no run-ins, and nobody was there to help us out. I know that we deserve our belts, and that we earned them. I guess it was just hard on some of the other guys that the "underdogs" beat them that night. I'd have been a little angry too. I'm sorry that those guys felt they were cheated in any way, but this is a business.

Josh: Now to get more into your personal life. First an easy going question? What does Simon Terry do on his day off? Simon: Well, I don't get very many of those. I usually head back Tupelo and catch up with some of my friends. Some of my friends there have a rock n' roll band, I like to catch their shows as much as possible. During the day, I usually spend time just watching Fuse and surfing the net. I'm pretty nerdy when it comes to those kind of things.

Josh: About your alcohol problem, is it competely over?

Simon: One thing you learn in A.A. is that the problem is never over. One small drink and you could start right back up again. It's getting easier for me to go out with my friends to a club or bar and watch others drink and not touch anything myself. I usually set myself up to be the designated driver, then nobody lets me drink anyway.

Josh: Tell us about the lovelife of Simon Terry.

Simon: Well, I am seeing a really nice girl, but we're taking it really slow. I try to keep her away from the cameras and stuff. Girlfriends can get really bumrushed by cameras and stuff like that. She's seen what my past is about with all the televised relationships that I've had. She knows that I've dated a stripper, and she knows all about my times with Cissy Miyas, and she still wanted to go out with me. That's reason enough to keep her around.

Josh: What's your plans for 2004?

Simon: In the ring or outside of it?

Josh: Ummm both.

Simon: Well in NEW, I plan on keeping these titles and working with Rhemses to become the best tag team ever in NEW. I'm also going to focus on getting myself known as a heavyweight and getting back to not only main event status, but completely pushing others in the fed to do the same. I'm also planning on doing a little moonlighting with this great woman that I've had the pleasure of meeting through Shawn Stryker. As far as my personal life goes, there's really no way for me to predict that, other that working hard to make all my relationships outside the ring as comfortable as possible.

Josh: Okay, I think that about wraps it up for now, Simon. If I think of anything else that I'd like to put in the article, I'll just give you a call and we can go over it on the phone.

Simon: Cool.

Josh: Feel free to stick around and check out anything you want on the magazine. They should have your pictures developed in about an hour or so, you can help them pick out some for the article.

Simon: I've really got to be going. I trust Janet, I think she'll pick out the right ones. I've got to hit the gym.

January 22, 9:54 a.m.

The scene opens this time to a hotel room somewhere in California. Simon Terry sits at a table that has papers scattered around. One is a memo from the deskclerk that simply says "Representative from NEW called, get in touch with AJ." Simon grabs up his cell phone and walks over to sit on the hotel-room bed. It seems his cellphone has become a large part of his life as of late. As he sits on the bed we get a shot of Simon's Unified Alliance title as well as another sitting beside it. Oddly enough the other title has been blurred for censorship.

Simon: (On the phone.)Hello. This is Simon Terry, I need to speak with CEO AJ please.

......

Simon: What time do expect him back?

......

Simon: No thank you. Just let him know that I called and that I will call him back later this afternoon or tommorrow morning.

......

Simon: Thanks.

Simon hangs his cellphone up and pulls out his suitcase and begins to pack up his clothes. About the time he begins to empty the first drawer the room phone rings. He stops to think about how busy he's been lately and how busy he's going to be in 2004 and then picks the phone up.

Simon: Hello.

......

Simon: It's been a pleasure working for you these last couple of weeks.

......

Simon: Thanks.

......

Simon: I'm sorry, but I'm going to be heading to New Orleans this week and I wanted to make a quick trip home to Tupelo since we're going to be so close.

......

Simon: Well, I can make you a tape from Tupelo or New Orleans and have is sent Fed Ex if that's cool.

......

Simon: Thanks. That'd be great. I know this is kind of a strange situation for you, I'm sure you've done it before though.

......

Simon: Cool, I'll see you in a couple of weeks.

......

Simon: Bye.

Simon hangs that phone up and begins to pack again. On this the scene fades out for good this time.
