Beth Israel Hospital is considered a "Clinical
Center" where your student can fulfill all
clinical rotations (and not have to move).

This is a rough "inner-city" area.
Do not live downtown, no matter what kind of "deal"
you find. Average rent is between $700-$1,000
a month for a 1 bedroom. The hospital does provide
free housing to single students, but not SO's.
There is a subway stop close to the hospital.
