This is an easy winter hike with free accommodation at shizugoya lodge behind Nantai mountain.

It E#060;/span>s in good condition and can sleep over 20 comfortably. Never really crowded  E#060;/span> a waste but that E#060;/span>s why I like it.

Tobu train to Nikko then bus to Astoria hotel. Cheap ski rental but they must be returned every day.

After skiing it E#060;/span>s a 2 hour walk to the lodge -not so steep and the snow is often hard from snowmobiles.
