****1/2 to ***** hike/scramble ( some 10-20m rock climbs with chain)
- definitely not for beginners:cancelled
if rain
from tokyo ueno station -takasaki line, rapid train to takasaki is under
2
hours.then local line to yokoukawa, about 20 mins
taxi to centre of mountains from station is 10 mins (\1600 for the car)
climb to top ridge is about 2 hours then follow rocky ridge for
about 5 hours
ending near station
involves a few steep sections and chains ( helmet and insurance
recommended ........... but most people dont use!
