Lillian R. Wilkinson Oct. 4, 1914 - Jan. 25, 2000

Lillian R. Wilkinson, age 85 of Farwell, passed away Tuesday, January 25, in Farwell.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the Stephenson - Wyman Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Ball officiating. Burial will be in the Surrey Twp. Cemetery in Farwell.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home Friday from 3 - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Arrangements by the Stephonson - Wyman Funeral Home, Inc. of Clare.

Lillian was born the daughter of Christopher and Josephine (Girard) Green on October 4, 1914 in Grant Twp., Clare County. Lillan married Luther Wilkinson on June 3, 1929, he preceded her in death in January 3, 1990.

Lillian was a lifelong resident of the Farwell Area. She worked in the Etching Department of both Holly Carburator and Evart Products. She attended the Farwell United Methodist Church and had belonged to the Rebekah's Lodge.

Lillian is survived by three sons; Don (Louisa) of Lake Station, Ron (Mary) of Kissimmee, Fla., and Garry (Joyce) of Midland; one daughter Lillian (Fred) Haggart of Farwell; a brother Kenneth Green of Battle Creek; two sisters Iris Brown and Dora Arnold of Farwell; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Lillian is preceded in death by her husband, Luther; three sons, Richard, Raymond Jr. and Robert; two sisters Winnie Ketchum and Mary Hildbrandt; and one brother Peter Green.

L. Raymond Wilkinson, 84 of Farwell, died on Wednesday January 3, at his home in Farwell.

He was born on Oct. 31, 1905 in Hamilton County Illinois, the son of Samuel and Elizabeth (Hales) Wilkinson.

On June 1, 1929 he united in marriage to Lillian Green.

He is survived by his wife Lillian; three sons, Donald and Louisa Wilkinson of Midland, Ronald and Mary Wilkinson of Salem N.H., and Garey and Linda Wilkinson of Midland; by one daughter, Fred and Lillian Haggart of Farwell; by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by three sons, and by one sister Mrs. Mildred Klinghoffer of Farwell.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 6, at 1 p.m. at the Coker Funeral Home in Farwell with Pastor Terry Hose officiating. Burial was in the Surrey Twp. Cemetery in Farwell.
