ROSS, Anthony Patrick - Of Flint. age 47, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11AM Monday, May 14, 2007 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd., Flint, Fr. Santhiyagu Arockiysamy officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the family. Visitation will be Sunday 2-5 and 6-8PM.
Anthony was born October 10, 1959 in Flint, MI. He was a former employee of the Antique Cab Company. He loved animals, especially cats. He had a great sense of humor and loved his family and lifting weights.
He is survived by: his wife, Melinda Ross; mother, Relda Crawford; son, William Loomis; 6 sisters, Linda Tomlin, Janet Riley, Kelly Broderick, Rachell Roach, Sharon (Edward) Reynolds, Audra Webb; brother, Steve Bestenman; many nieces, nephews and close friends; step-son and daughter, Tim Kuss and Kelly Bradley.
He was preceded in death by father Teeman Ross and sister, Donna Bestenman; step-father Robert Roach.

ROSS, Carole Lee - Age 61, of Lapeer, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2007 after a long illness. Visitation 4-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer, Elder Steve Daggett officiating. Burial at Deerfield Twp. Cemetery.
Surviving are: children, Tim (Dawn) Ross of North Branch, Michelle (Ed) Ruhlman of North Branch, Matthew (Kimberly) Ross of Lapeer, Joel Ross of North Branch and Sariah (Daniel Malach) Ross of Lapeer; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 2 sisters, Jo Anne Morell of Cass City, and Valda Goss of Lapeer; 2 sisters-in-law, Jonie Scramlin and Sue Scramlin, both of Columbiaville; special daughter-in-law, Kelley Ross of North Branch. She is also survived by many, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lee Ross in 1995; her parents, Carter and Doris Scramlin; 2 brothers, Richard "Dick" and Terry Scramlin; and her infant sister, Doris.
Carole was a 1963 graduate of Lapeer High School. She worked for many years at Lapeer County Community Mental Health, retiring just last fall. Carole was a member of Community of Christ Church in Lapeer. She loved gardening and her grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the family.

ROSS, George W. - Of Flint, age 78, died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Maple Woods Manor. Memorial service will be held at 12PM Monday, April 23, 2007 at First Presbyterian Church, 746 South Saginaw Street in Flint, Dr. John L. Musgrave officiating. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Those desiring may make contributions to First Presbyterian Church 170th Anniversary Celebration. Visitation 11AM Monday until the time of the service at the church.
George was born in Rochester, Indiana on December 7, 1928, the son of Willis and Elizabeth Ross. He married Oreat Forbord on September 23, 1950 in Flint. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Buick Salaried Retirees Club, Bishop Sunday School Class and the Fellowship Lodge No. 490, F.&A.M. The joy of his life were his children and grandchildren. His hobbies were sailing, camping and helping others. Mr. Ross was employed by Buick Motor Division for 35 years.
Surviving are wife, Oreat Ross, of 57 years; son, Douglas E. Ross; daughters, Nancy and husband James McGarey, Martha Ross; Marcia Ross and husband Anthony; 7 grandchildren, Brian McGarey and Nicholas Durish, Jennifer Durish, Amanda Durish, Sarah Durish, Laura McGarey and Meredith Ross; sister, Janice Law; sister-in-law, Delphine Forbord; many nieces and nephews; dear friends and neighbors.

ROSS, Juanita - Age 86 of Wichita, Kansas, died June 15, 2007. She had been an assembly worker with General Motors in Flint, MI. ROSS, Orpha P. - loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, of Millington, age 78, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, July 30, 2007 at the Millington Community Church of God, 4855 Barnes Rd., Millington, MI. Darrell Babcock officiating and Pastor Ellsworth Jackson on piano. Burial at Newton-Compeau Cemetery. Friends may call at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Saturday and Sunday from 12-6pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Orpha was born May 26, 1929 in Tustin, Michigan to the late Omen and Ida (Burgess) Waters. She had resided in the Millington area the past 53 years.
Orpha married Kent E. Ross on January 11, 1949. She was a very active member of the Millington and Clio Church of God where she helped in any area needed from hospital visits to helping in the nursery. Orpha enjoyed quilt making, plastic canvas and gardening.
Surviving are: husband, Kent; children, Sharon (Joe) Leonard of Flushing, Leonard (Marie) Ross of Vassar, Dorothy (Greg) Severn of Texas, Jean Neumann of Grand Rapids, Don (Patty) Ross of Virginia; 8 grandchildren, Kelly, Chad, Kris, Darcy, Ryan, Jeff, Tony and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Hunter and Jeramiah; brother, Ira Waters of Grand Rapids.
