Floyd



Juliann Joyce Floyd, 58, of Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, March 7, 1995, at Central Michigan Community Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Chippewa Indian United Methodist Church with the Rev. Owen Whitepigeon officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Rosebush.

Friends may ball at the church after 2 p.m. today. Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant handled the arrangements.

Mrs. Floyd was born March 21, 1936, in Mt. Pleasant, to James Peters and Helen (Bennett) Peters. She married Frederick Alvin Floyd Sr.

A life resident of the area, Mrs. Floyd worked in the enrollment office of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe, later working for the gaming operation at the tribe. She also was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.

She is survived by three children, Pamala Sue Floyd, Michael Lee Floyd Sr. and Douglas Eugene Floyd all of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd Peters, Gerald Peters, and Phillip Peters, all of Mt. Pleasant; three sisters; Theresa Falcon and Betsie Hall both of Mt. Pleasant, and Christine Grervette of Saginaw.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Fredrick Alvin Floyd Jr.; one brother, Selkirk Peters, and one sister, Emma Slater.
