Funeral Services for James Elliott, 53 year old farmer who died Monday noon from the heat, were held Wednesday at two o'clock and interment was made in Forest Hill Cemetery. (Published in Isabella County Times News July 16, 1936)

Milo "Mike" M. Elliott, 76, of Lake, died Thursday May 12, 1994 at Michigan Capital Medical Center in Lansing. Graveside services were held at the Memorial Garden Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Mr. Kenneth Filkins of the Gilmore Church of Christ officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Michigan or to the Commission on Aging. Envelopes are available at Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant.
Mr. Elliott was born Nov. 16, 1917 in Weidman to James and Lottie (Reed) Elliott.
He married Creola "Kay" Stahl on Oct. 8, 1938 at the Church of Christ in Shepherd.
A life resident of the area, Mr. Elliott was the owner and operator of Roy's Magneto in Mt. Pleasant. He had been associated with the oil business for 55 years. He served in the National Guard during WWII, and was a former member of the Elks.
Besides his wife, Mr. Elliott is survived by three children, JoAnne Bronson of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla, Martin Milo Elliott and his wife Ina of Chapleau, Ontario, Canada, and Marion Kay Price and her husband Robert of Greenville; five granddaughters and 5 grandsons; six great-granddaughters and 4 great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Gurdon Elliott.
