Bettie A. Doyle, age 73, of Clare, passed away on December 19, 200l at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Clare.

Bettie was born the daughter of Charles and Mary (Green) Hildebrant on January 15, 1928 in Riverdale.

Bettie had been a resident of Clare since moving from Farwell 19 years ago. She had worked for Evart Products and had retired in 1979. Bettie had attended the Clare Church of God. She enjoyed reading, watching TV and playing Bingo.

Bettie is survived by two sons: Bryan (Linda) Hildebrant of Cadillac, and Robert (Kelly) Doyle of Flint; a brother Darrell (Kim) Hildebrant of California; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Bettie was predeceased by her sons Charles E. VanCleve and Charles S. Doyle; a daughter Judy K. Sutter; and a sister Wanda Rodabaugh.

Funeral Services took place on December 22, 2001 at the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home with the Reverend Harold Owens officiating., Cremation has taken place with burial to be held in Surrey Twp Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home, Inc. of Clare.

Doyle, Charles (Chuck) S. - Of Flint, age 35, died Saturday, December 20, 1986, at St. Joseph Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd., Fr. Joseph Hartman officiating. Interment at Crestwood Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Doyle was born in Flint, Michigan, February 6, 1951, and had lived most of his life in Flint. He served in the U.S. Army during Viet Nam, was a member of UAW Buick Local #599 and was employed by Buick Motor Division for 18 years.

Surviving are: son, Charles Doyle Jr. of Flint; mother, Bettie Doyle of Clare; father and step-mother, Robert and Josie Doyle of Belfast, Ireland; brother, Robert Doyle of Flint; half-sister, Judy Sutter of Farwell; half-brother, Bryan Hildebrant of Cadillac; girlfriend, Debbie Grierson of Flint; grand-parents, Mary and Charles Hildebrant of Clare; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and host of friends.
