Dangerfield



Mrs. Dangerfield died suddenly Monday, January 4th. On Wednesday her husband and children started with her remains for Canada. She was an estimable lady and will be sadly missed by a large circle of friends.

Richard Dangerfield was born Aug. 17, 1852 near St. Thomas, Ontario. In 1879 he was united in marriage to Eliza Copeland. To this union four children were born.

They settled in Coldwater Twp., Isabella Co., in 1890 where he resided until his death March 21, 1933, aged 80 years 7 months and 4 days. His wife preceded him in death Jan. 4, 1892.

In 1909 he was again united in marriage to Elva Nash of Coldwater Township to which union five children were born, two of whom survive.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, six children, Mrs. Edward Delong, Mrs. James Sisco, Mrs. Ivan Hoffman, Mrs. Chas. Nash, Henrietta and Florence all of Coldwater township, four sisters, Mrs. George Ryckman, Chesterland, Ohio., Mrs. Henry Rapelje of Wallacetown, Ont., Mrs. Emmett Snyder, St. Thomas, Ont., Mrs. D.W. Mann, Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, besides other relatives and friends.

Early in his youth he accepted Christ and remained true to his faith from which he received much comfort and consolation during the declining years of his life.
