Sandra Lee Boyce, 59, of Mt. Pleasant graduated to Heaven on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Central Michigan Community Hospital.

Funeral services for Sandra will be held on Saturday, June 16th at 2 p.m. from Chippewa Indian Methodist Church with Rev. Owen White-Pigeon officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, June 15th from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Chippewa Indian Methodist Church or Winchester Towers. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel and the church.

Sandra was born June 14, 1947 in Midland County, MI to George and Emma (Peters) Slater. She married Rev. Richard A. Boyce on September 17, 1977. Sandra was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe and the St. Louis Gospel Church until her illness.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 29 years, Rev. Richard Boyce of Mt. Pleasant; sisters, Helen (L.E.) Reed; Bonnie (Fred Sr.) Cantu; Kelly Slater; Sharon (Ralph) Matthews all of Mt. Pleasant and Colleen (Dave) Sisco of Lake; brothers, Alan (Cheryl) Slater of Houghton Lake, George (Debra) Slater and Jerry Slater both of Mt. Pleasant. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, brother Freeman Slater; sisters, Elizabeth Slater and Lorraine Sharp; nephews, Jeremy Slater, Skylar and Jesus.
