Mr. Bierschbach of Jackson Dies Saturday
Alex Bierschbach, 75, of Jackson died Saturday, Sept. 24 as a result of injuries suffered when struck by a Honda. He was born on August 6, 1891 in Nattawa Township in Isabella County.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Beal City with Father Edward Neubecker officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Rosary services will be held tonight and Tuesday evening at the J. J. Rush Funeral Home at 8 p.m.
Mr. Bierschbach's survivors are one son James, of Beal City; one daughter, Mary of Traverse City; ten grandchildren; three brothers, Leander, Frank and Julius of Beal City and six sisters, Mrs. Anna Reihl, Mrs. Helen Bleise, Mrs. Elizabeth Hengensbaugh, and Mrs. Lydia Hengensbaugh, all of Beal City and Miss Agnes Bierschback of Jackson and Mrs. Ida Richmond of Detroit.
