Form for Permission to Rock Climb on Private Property
    The purpose for this form is as an agreement for the purpose of obtaining permission for ____________________ to rock climb on the property owned by ____________________. In this agreement the stipulations of the conditions of the climber's permission to climb will be detailed as well as the conditions pertaining to conduct of the climber while on the landowner's property.
I:      The Landowner is not responsible for the safety of the climber while he is on the Landowners property.
    A) The Climber hereby agrees that {he or she} has sole responsibility for {his or her} safety, and in the case of an unforeseen accident where injury or fatality is incurred.  No law suits by the climber or his family will be attempted pertaining to such injury's or accidental death.

II:     The Climber will respect the landowner by agreeing not to build or erect any
    A) Permanent structures on landowner,s property.In the case of non permanent structures such as tent's, lean-to's, or any other camping type activity will be at the landowner's discretion {i.e. If the landowner states that {he or she} does not wish the climber to camp on his property then the climber will honor that wish. If {he or she} does allow camping then the climber will agree not to damage or trash the landowner's property, and will agree to pack out all equipment, supply's, and trash when {he or she} leaves the property}. Landowner check preference below please:
___ The climber is allowed to camp on the landowner's property provided {he or she} complies with owner's stipulations.
___ The climber is not allowed to camp, place tents, or other on property.
    B) In the case of campfires, or related activity. The climber will comply with any or all stipulations made by the landowner. Such stipulations will be as listed here, or as directed by landowner.
___  The climber is allowed to use camp stoves as long as {he or she} follows adequate safety measures to reduce any chances of damaging property due to fire. Adequate safety measures include using them only in areas where the fire is unlikely to spread uncontrollably.
___The climber is allowed to build campfires on the landowners property as long as {he or she} builds a fire pit and arranges rocks, or non-flammable objects around the pit. The climber will agree also to refill the pit with dirt later before leaving the landowners property if stipulated. Refill {YES or NO}. He or she also agrees that no metal, glass, or other non-flammable objects will be left or buried in the pit.
___ The climber is not allowed to build any fires of any kind on property at any time. This includes the use of camp stoves
  C) In the case of offroad vehicles such as four wheel drive vehicles, recreational motorcycles, three and four wheelers, and simular.
___ The climber is allowed to operate offroad vehicles for the purpose of gaining access to the climbing area only, but only in areas agreed to by the landowner.
___ The climber is not allowed to operate any kind of offroad vehicles on landowners property either for access to climbing areas or other
  D) In the case of protection such as bolts and or other. The climber will comply with any or all stipulations made by the landowner. Such stipulations will be as listed here, or as directed by landowner
___ The climber is allowed to place bolt protection on landowner's property as long as {he or she} places such bolts conservatively {only where needed}.
___The climber is allowed to place bolt protection on landowner's property but only in spots where non-permanent clean protection {stoppers, hex's, SLCD's, etc.} cannot be used.
___The climber is not allowed to place bolts or other permanent types of protection on landowner's property.
III: If allowed to climb on the landowner's property the climber is obligated to report any damage, or adverse conditions (such as landslides, fallen rocks, or other dangerous conditions) that {he or she} notices while on the property to the landowner as soon as possible. He or she also agrees that if such adverse conditions do exist, and they pose an obvious danger. He or she will not attempt a possible dangerous climb under those conditions until the landowner has been informed of the problem. The climber will at this time abide by the landowners decision about further climbing on the property until the landowner again decides it is safe to do so.
IV:  The above climber
is allowed to climb on the above mentioned landowner's property with all the above checked stipulations along with these additions. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________
