This 1995 Chevy truck belongs to Eric Sisco. Eric works for Dave Seale at Personal Touch Autobody in Chenoa. Eric was on a very tight budget and was also limited to the space available inside the truck.
I'm sorry about the picture but we found a used Sony CD player in very good condition through my main dealer I use. The unit had been sent in and redone but never picked up. This happens a lot to dealers who send things in for people. Sometimes you can get a good deal if you ask. We were lucky and only paid $75 for a $400 head unit, when it was new.
Because of space limitations we had to combine the sub box and amp rack together. The sub is a Kicker Solo-Baric 10w4. New but 2 years old, price $75. The amp is a Rockford 4.6 four channel. This is an amp I had used in two previous systems. It had not been in a car for more than 1 yr. Price, $100. The box is made of MDF, fiberglass and some bondo. All wiring came in the front of the box and was totally hidden. The amp is bridged on the rear outputs to the sub and the front runs the coax speakers in the doors.
Luckly the doors are already set up for 6-1/2's and went in with very few modifications. A set of DEI 6-1/2" coax speakers were added to the doors. These were also a left over set that were last years model. Price...$50. The total price for this system including wiring and kits was $360. Not bad for a good sounding, 130db system. If you are on a budget look for deals any place you can, you will be amazed at what you can find. By the way all trim pieces in the truck were painted by Eric's boss Dave Seale.
