Chevy Truck
This is the back seat of the truck. Carl called me the next day after he picked up the truck to ask me to make a matching console for the back. The big mirror comes out so you can get to the battery easily. As with the front console, the mirror is 1/4" thick and is sand blasted to match some of the graphics on the outside of the truck.
This is the front console and is made the same way as the back. The whole thing is fiberglass and is very light even with the mirror in place.
Both seat bottoms were boxed in so the mounting frame and hardware are not seen.
I smoothed the bottom of the dash and installed the center console. Then added all of the alum. that J&B Microfinish made for the truck. At this point not all the alum. was done. I will have new pictures when the rest is done and installed.
Next was the door. The factory plastic that holds the switches and goes around the door handle was removed and the switches were then mounted in the alum. piece then mounted to the door card. Then the top door edge piece was installed. This is a one of a kind piece that J&B made. To our knowledge this is the only set in use on the ISCA show circut. I also filled in the factory map pocket to smooth the apperance of the door. The armrests were also tweeded to match the rest of the door.
