'67 Jeepster

This is Jay Walkner's 1967 Jeepster. He traded his cousin a ski boat for it. He and his wife bought a place on Lake Bloomington and they wanted something to go cruzin around the lake in. He wanted a simple system.

This is the fifth system we have done for Jay and it is the second complete system my oldest boy has done. I was the technical advisor on this one too. Jay had some leftover parts from other systems through out the years. We put Insignia 6x9s in the back with a Bazooka tube. The tube can be moved when they have backseat passengers.

The head is a JVC unit with mp3 front input and a remote. The original glove box was removed and one was made out of abs plastic. It is all plastic welded together. The front speakers are Boston 5 1/4s with a Soundstream 3ch mounted behind it. There is no room for pods in the jeep and we did not want to cut the doors. Jay did have some electrical problems in the begining but now that they are ironed out the jeep is getttin some serious cruzin time. NEXT..
