| What is Garrison Online?? |
| Garrison Online is a website created by three people in glorius Catterick Garrison with nothing better to do with their lives. It is regularly updated and takes vasts amounts of time and energy to keep it going so firstly thanks to everyone who has helped. It all began many moons ago with previous Catterick Garrison based websites such as"Garrison Stories" and another "Garrison Online", but they fell by the wayside and after a long lay off it was decided that Garrison Online should come back bigger, better and more beautiful than ever before (oh and also Mike left and Flem, well, if anyone see's Flem let us know).So here is this creation. Unlike the previous websites which didnt feature too much to do with the area itself, this here website has all the information you could need if you are moving to/being posted to or are just interested in Catterick Garrison. There are plenty of photos of the surrounding area including The Yorkshire Dales and tourist town Richmond, and also photos of anywhere we the members decide to go (too many to list, although they include the set of ITV's Heartbeat).Catterick obviously has a large military pedigree and has its wealth of history from its beginnings to the present day is charted on the Military page. Theres a local music section for anyone looking for gigs to go to, and also features some local bands, what theyre about etc, some even have MP3's to download. Check them out here: Local Music. Theres plenty more to keep anyone occupied even if your not from the area, theres a forum for discussions about all things anywhere, which is posted in several times a day, and is free to join.. Well theres not a lot more i can say, just go check it out, explore and have fun. Leave a message on the message board if you feel like it.
