The MOMS Club ® of Clifton Park, NY is a support group for mothers-at-home, wanting a variety of activities for you and your children. Most of our activities are during the day and are kid friendly. The club is a wonderful way for you to meet other at-home moms and a fun way for your child to meet other children!

 

What We Do

 

• Monthly Meetings

We meet once a month to socialize while the kids play and have a short informal meeting (usually with a speaker, topic for discussion or other activity).

 

·         Playgroups

We have playgroups for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

 

·         Activity Groups

Activity groups for members with common interests include book club, cooking club, and a monthly MOMS Night Out. We are always interested in new ideas and new groups!

 

·         Family Parties

Seasonal family parties are held several times a year including Halloween, Holiday, Spring and Summer parties.

 

·         Outings

Every month there are several casual outings to choose from. Choices may include meeting at a playground, apple picking or meeting for coffee.

 

·         Service projects

Each year we choose a projects to help needy mothers and children in our community. For example, we donated food, supplies and toys to the Ronald McDonald House at Albany Medical Center and toys to the Schenectady City Mission for parents who could not afford holiday presents.

 

·         Sunshine Committee:

Remember those first weeks home from the hospital with a new baby?  Wouldn't it be nice to have dinner delivered to your door?  With Sunshine Committee we do just that.  Any mom in need of assistance can sign up for help with meals, baby-sitting or errands.

 

 

   We believe being a mother shouldn’t isolate you, so you may bring your children with you to anything we do. We are a kid friendly group and welcome babies and children of all ages.

 

  Our dues are $25 a year and pay for our room rentals, supplies and programs. You may attend two club meetings before you decide to become a member. We understand that being a mother-at-home often means a tight family budget, so if the dues would be a hardship for your family, please talk to one of our officers.

 

    Come visit our next meeting! Our chapter is very open to new members and new ideas. Although some of us have lived here for years and are experienced mothers, many of us are new in town or new to motherhood! We all have one thing in common – the MOMS Club introduced us to other moms… the ones who soon became our friends.
