March 18, 2003, Frances Chiarelli withdrew her name for consideration for NEA Delegate leaving 6 candidates. Since the Association is entitled to six (6) representatives, those 6 remaining seats are uncontested. Be further advised that at Schools 5, 12, 14, 15, WWMS, CCMS, & CHS, there was a total 13 discrepancies. To the extent that the above-noted discrepancies did not impact on the outcome of the election, the CTA Elections Committee has certified the vote and ratified the election as valid. At the March 19, 2003 Delegate Assembly meeting, the Recording Secretary will cast a vote for the uncontested CTA Executive Board positions, NEA Delegates, and Professional Development Committee.
