Family
My wife's name is Katie, I have 2 children my baby girl Kayla and my newborn boy (born July 2008) Jacob. I also have 2 children that are not of the same species. My goofy dog's name is Luke and my weird cat's name is Scotty.
Education
I graduated from CSU, Sacramento in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and a minor in Government. I recieved my single subject credential in 2004 (social science-ELA authorization). I completed BTSA (begininning teacher support and assessment) in the spring of 2008 and earned my Clear Credential.
Teaching Experience
I was a student teacher at Sylvan Middle School (San Juan Unified), teaching World History and a student teacher at Center High School (Center Unified) teaching US and World History.
I taught World History, US History and Government at Paragon School (private school) for the 2004-2005 school year.
I taught Gov't/ Econ, and US History at Antelope View Charter School (Center Unified). Besides teaching, I coordinated the Senior Project requirement was and a HS teacher rep for our school site council
I am currently teaching world history and am the activities director at Center High School (Center Unified).

I have taught the following courses: Senior Project, Basic English, 7th grade World History, Geography, Modern World History, US History, Government, Economics and Sociology.
Other Jobs (non-teaching)
During and directly after my junior/ senior of high school I was in a rock band playing the Keyboards (Yes, I know it's unbelievable)
During my Freshman / Sophmore year of college I was an office manager at Century Theatres
During my Junior / Senior year of college I was a supervisor at Kinko's
I currently have a Broker's license and I dabble in real estate during summer breaks.
Hobbies
Spending time with my family, reading, watching movies, playing tennis, walking my dog, and bike riding.

Get my master's degree (Political Science or Education)
