Article Review Guidelines
History and Geography courses

Each student
should follow these guidelines for preparing article reviews. Your grade on these 25 pt. assignments will
largely depend upon your adherence to these guidelines. Read
the article and prepare a minimum one page
review paper.

Include
a brief synopsis or summary of the
article. This must be in your own
words-DO NOT COPY FROM THE ARTICLE!!!

Include
a reaction or response to the article.
Did you learn anything new or did your find the article interesting or
well-written? Back up your comments or
responses.

On the
first page include: Course name, Date of
submission, your
Name, my name (spelled correctly!) and title of the submission:
A Review of “Man’s Development of Flight” for example.

Include
a complete bibliographical reference to identify the article.
If you are unsure about this, check the internet (MLA style
citations) ask me or your English instructor. (Include name of article, author,
journal or magazine title, date of publication.

All
reviews must be typed, double-spaced, size 12 font, spell
Checked and grammatically correct.
