- A community-minded organization called the Clifford Township Community Alliance was formed in 2002 to aid in community activities. It publishes its own newsletter, which took second place at the state level in the township newsletter category twice. Its main purpose was to form a bond between the community and the township Supervisors.
-Clifford shares a hometown Little League team with South Gibson. The Knights' home field was ready for play in 2003 and although it is still not completed, it still provides a beautiful place for the teams to play. Brick dugouts grace the sidelines and a concession stand and bullpen can also be found, along with bleachers for the many fans that come out to support the teams.
