Here are some pictures from the ballparks I visited along the East Coast in 1997...

Yankee Stadium: New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins. Sunday, August 3. I'm not much of a Yankees fan, but I was in still in awe of the stadium.

A view from left field, during batting practice. I almost caught a home run.

Views of Monument park, behind the wall in left-center. It was a long line to get in, but it was definitely well worth the wait. A must see for any baseball fan visiting Yankee stadium!

Shea Stadium: New York Mets vs. Colorado Rockies. Thursday, August 7. Kind of a letdown after visiting Yankee stadium, but hey, going to baseball game beats work anyday!

Fenway Park. Boston Red Sox vs. Kansas City Royals. Friday, August 8. I had great seats, about 5 rows up from right behind home plate! It was neat to hear the balls bounce off the Green Monster.

Camden Yards. Home of the Baltimore Orioles. First of a series of new ballparks that have been constructed in the latter part of this century. Glad to see they've moved away from the "cookie-cutter" park designs. A great stadium. Too bad the Orioles weren't in town...

The Baseball Hall of Fame. Cooperstown, New York. Just an awesome museum. You can easily spend a whole day just inside, looking at baseball history.
