Goddard receives its AC power from three different generation sources in order to ensure AC power 100% of the time. Powering, among other critical functions, all Space Shuttle communications and Hubble Space Telescope control, which go through Goddard. The monitoring system provided detailed information on how the external power was distributed to the buildings on campus and the status of additional backup generators at key campus locations. (Installation took place during the 9/11 attacks on New York City and the Pentagon.)

Provided Network Administration and Staff Training for campus-wide LAN consisting of 11 file servers including e-mail server, two school library servers, two reading program application servers, and a web server. Supported 80+ school staff clients and 500+ student client file server accounts. Overall, there were 500 networked computers of many different types and generations distributed in 5 computer labs, plus 2 or 3 computers per classroom.
