"Dev Anand: Lucky no more!

Lucky Ali, who is pusuing a new career- before the camera, had earlier signed Dev Anand's film. However, the news is that Lucky is no longer in the film. With a certain Shoebh Khan replacing him. However, according to Dev Anad, Lucky will still be making a special appearance in a song, as well as scoring all the songsfor the film. Now let's hope, if not the best of Lucky, at least rest of Lucky proves lucky for Dev Anand!"

There are a couple of albums in the music market. The albums are 'Gori Teri Aankhen' and 'Get Lucky'. Former one is a new album (I guess...) with Kavita Krishnamurthy. May be its only a compilation of some songs. The later one is collection of all the best ever Lucky Ali songs. All his best work has been collected in a single album. "New Lucky Ali song

Last evening when I was watching T.V. and surfing channels, on Zee Music I saw a new song. I suddenly realized that it was Lucky Ali singing with Kavita Krishnamurty. The song was called "Gori Teri AAnkhen". The name of the album/movie was also quoted as "Gori Teri AAnkhen". The song was really good and it was must see for anyone and everyone. Does this mean that we have another Lucky Ali movie in pipeline???? Let's hope to get Lucky. 

And the second thing is the movie Kaante is to be released around Diwali. I read this in newspapers.

There is more to Mehboob's genes than just comedy or music. Ask son Lucky Ali. In his first "big banner" feature film break, Kya Main Ab Bhi Tumse Pyar Karta Hoon, with childhood buddy and director Bobby Khan, blues boy Lucky Ali gets to play lead, sing, score music, even shake a leg with pretty co-stars Raveena Tandon and Lisa Ray. But Ali makes an honest confession: "I can't dance. I have two left feet." The film also marks his debut as a music composer for Bollywood. The man says he signed the film "for a lark". For those who don't know, this is not the singer's first foray into acting. Long before music albums Sunoh and Sifar, and much before lending voice for Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Na ... Pyar Hai, Ali had tried to woo the cameras in Shyam Benegal's Trikaal and in the teleserial Bharat Ek Khoj that was aired back in the 1980s.

For the light-eyed neo-actor, big banners are a totally new feeling. "Heady," he says, with more films to look forward to: Sanjay Gupta's Kaante, Aditya Bhattacharya's Rakh and Dev Anand's Love In Times Square, says Ali: "When I started dabbling music, it was very personal. Now I sometimes feel stuck in the music business." Must have been the real reason why he didn't say no to khan. Does Khan get lucky?
