As you all must be knowing by now, he has worked for some other people too.

He was seen singing for some one else for the first time when he sung a song called ' Nasha ' for the movie 'Dushman Duniya Ka' directed by his father and featured his brother in lead role.

Next he sung for some non filmi albums like meri jaan hindustan, bhopal express but real success came when his two songs Kyon Chalti Hai Pawan and Ek Pal Ka Jeena for the movie Kaho Na Pyar Hai did wonders at the box office. They were instant hits. Lucky won the most acclaimed award for the songs. He won the award for best singer of the year 2001 - Male at the filmfare award. The songs have been some credit for the phenomenal success of Hrithik Roshan. These songs projected him as a chocolate lover boy.
