A lot of people are going to be on probation due to lack of participation. Ms. Pace, our sponsor, will look at this list that is on the website to determine if she will sign your NHS form. If you do not have any points at all, it is likely she will not sign your form. However, if you have a problem with this, feel free to email us and we can discuss this matter. Thanks.

Donation Cups

Don't forget that the donations you collect will get you points! For every two dollars, you will get a point! For example, if you get 50 dollars, that's 25 points!!

Speaking of points, you should strive to get many points as possible because you might win a prize at the end of the year and it gives you a better chance to be an officer for next year! (more info later in the year)

Mini-meeting

There will be a mini-meeting on Tuesday, October 19, in Ms Pace's room. If you did not turn in your member fees last Wednesday, this is your last chance to get them in! Remember, dues are $12. ALSO, if you bring tape to this meeting, we will add 2 points onto your point sheet for this month. Think about it�it's a good deal! (We need the tape. Plz kthx)

Meeting & New Sponsor!

We know most of you guys are taking the PSAT on that Wednesday we're going to have our meeting. However, the meeting will be AFTER-SCHOOL and will be really short! We promise! Also, we wanted to add that we have a new sponsor, Ms Pace, who says she will attend every meeting. This means you guys will have to behave! :)

Don't forget! Member dues ($12) must be turned in no later than this meeting. If you catch Nicole in the halls, you can give the money to her.

This will be a short update; the first SWAS meeting of the year will be held this Wednesday, September 8 in the main building commons. We will be discussing service projects for this month... and beyond!

Fish Camp

Success! We got plenty of people to sign up for SWAS. Expect a meeting date to be posted here soon, so check back. Also, pictures from Fish Camp have been posted. Feel free to check those out, but be aware that Geocities bandwidth can only distribute so much. The site might stop working. =P
