Thorn
(orn)
This page is all about the symbol thorn. The letter (lower case: ) which is known as thorn, or orn is a letter in the Anglo-Saxon and Icelandic alphabets. It was also used in midieval Scandinavia but was later replaced with th.
It has the sound of either a voiceless interdental fricative, like 'th' as in the English word "thick", or a voiced dental fricative, like 'th' as in the English word "the". In Icelandic the usage however is restricted to the former; the voiced form is represented with the letter (eth).

Campaign to bring orn back!

has been in hiding too long! Let's bring it back.
I like th just as much as the next guy but wouldn't it be awesome to tell people that you were in part responsible for brinigng a new character to the American English Alphabet?

Start using it everyhwere you would normally use th. I wouldn't recomend using it in school papers... teachers might not yet apreciate it, but don't worry... they will!

Use it in Instant messages! Use it in your blogs!
